Åkarps IBK was one of 100 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2019. They participated with one team in Flickor 06.

In addition to Åkarps IBK, 11 other teams played in Flickor 06. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Åkarps IBK could be found in Group B together with Fristad Goif, Floda IBK and Åsa IF.

Åkarps IBK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Malmö FBC with 1-2. In the Final, Stenungsunds IBK won over Kustens IF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Flickor 06.

Åkarps IBK comes from Åkarp which lies approximately 170 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Åkarp does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2019 (Malmö FBC/Gårdarike IBK F03, Lomma FBC, Malmö FBC, IBK Höllviken/Gårdarike IBK, Palmstaden IK, Häljarps SK, Malmhaug IBF and Malmö FBC P06).
