In addition to the two Ale IBF teams, 25 other teams played in Pojkar 05. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ale IBF 2 could be found in Group C together with Warberg IBF, Landvetter Wings 1, Nybro IBK and Slevik Innebandyklubb.

Ale IBF 2 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Nybro IBK with 0-3. In the Final, IBK Vänersborg 1 won over Nybro IBK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 05.

Ale IBF also participated in Pojkar 05 during Warbergsspelen 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P05 Slutspel A, but lost it against Träslövsläge IF 2 with 1-2.
