Hestrafors IF was one of 112 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2023. They participated with one team in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009).

In addition to Hestrafors IF, 28 other teams played in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009). They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Hestrafors IF could be found in Group C together with FBC Lerum 2, Arvika IBF and Lindås IBK.

Hestrafors IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IBK Kungälv with 0-3. In the Final, Floda IBK won over IBK Kungälv and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009).

Hestrafors IF also participated in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009) during Warbergsspelen 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in P09 Slutspel B, but lost it against Craftstaden IBK with 6-10.

Hestrafors comes from BOLLEBYGD which lies approximately 68 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around BOLLEBYGD does also provide 27 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2023 (Among others: Floda IBK, Fristad GoiF, Ale IBF, Tygriket 99, Varla IBK F13/14, Hindås IBK, IBF Älvstranden, Landvetter IBK Wings, IBK TYGRIKET 99 and Sandareds IBS).
