Värnamo IK was one of 128 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2024. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 11 (Född 2011) and Flickor 10 (Född 2010) respectively. The team in Flickor 10 (Född 2010) made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Munka Ljungby IBK by 0-2.

In addition to this, Värnamo IK have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2023, Värnamo had three teams playing in Pojkar 12 (Född 2012), Pojkar 09 (Född 2009) and Pojkar 06 (Född 2006) respectively. The team in Pojkar 06 (Född 2006) made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Floda IBK by 0-2.

Värnamo comes from Värnamo which lies approximately 110 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. Other than Värnamo IK, the club Forsheda IF does also originate from the area around Värnamo.
