In addition to Varla ibk, 27 other teams played in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009). They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Varla ibk svart could be found in Group E together with Säffle SK, Pixbo IBF and CL98IC.
Varla ibk svart continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group E. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Månsarps IBK with 0-3. In the Final, Skattkärrs IK won over Månsarps IBK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009).
