IBK Vänersborg continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Onsala Ibk with 1-3. In the Final, Vv84 Bjuv won over Floda IBK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009).
IBK Vänersborg also participated in Pojkar 09 (Född 2009) during Warbergsspelen 2023. They reached the 1/4 Final in P09 Slutspel B, but lost it against Floda IBK with 5-6.
