P02 Göteborg was one of 36 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Selected Player Cup Karlstad 2017. They participated with one team in P02.

In addition to P02 Göteborg, 9 other teams played in P02. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof P02 Göteborg could be found in Group A together with P02 Småland, P02 Stockholm Syd, P02 Uppland and P02 Södermanland.

P02 Göteborg made it to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against P02 Skåne, which they won with 4-3. Thereby P02 Göteborg won the entire Slutspel in P02 during Selected Player Cup Karlstad 2017.
