In addition to Nykvarns IF, 11 other teams played in Flickor Röd D (f.2008-2009) 1-3/4. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Nykvarns IF F09/10 could be found in Group B together with Solfjäderstaden IBK F08, Sävsjö IBK and IFK Arboga IBK.
Nykvarns IF F09/10 made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group B. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Vimmerby Ibk Röd D with 1-3.
