Sävsjö IBK was one of 157 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Linköping Floorball Games 2023. They participated with three teams in Pojkar Röd G (f.2010) 31/3-2/4, Pojkar Röd C (f.2008) 31/3-2/4 and Pojkar Röd A (f.2006-2007) 14-16/4 respectively. The team in Pojkar Röd C (f.2008) 31/3-2/4 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Nacka IBK by 3-2.

In addition to this, Sävsjö IBK have participated in Linköping Floorball Games before. During Linköping Floorball Games 2022, Sävsjö IBK had 4 teams playing in Pojkar Röd F (f.2008-2009) 1-3/4, Pojkar Röd C (f.2007) 1-3/4, Flickor Röd E (f.2009-2010) 1-3/4 and Flickor Röd D (f.2008-2009) 1-3/4 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Pojkar Röd F (f.2008-2009) 1-3/4 won over Mesta IBK by 7-1 but Flickor Röd E (f.2009-2010) 1-3/4 lost against Nykvarns IF F09/10 by 2-6.

Sävsjö IBK comes from SÄvsjÖ which lies approximately 130 km from Linköping, where Linköping Floorball Games takes place. Other than Sävsjö IBK, the club IBK HUSAR does also originate from the area around SÄvsjÖ.
