FC Helsingborg was one of 15 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nova Open 2019. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 2004 and Flickor 2006-2007 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2004 made it to the the in Gruppspeland won it over FC Helsingborg FCH P04 Blå by 4-3.
In addition to this, FC Helsingborg have participated in Nova Open before. During Nova Open 2018, FC Helsingborg had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 2005, Pojkar 2003, Flickor 2007-2008 and Flickor 2003-2004 respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in Slutspel A; Flickor 2003-2004 Blå lost against IBK Lund Vit by 3-6 and Flickor 2003-2004 Svart lost against IBK Lund Svart by 1-6. FC Helsingborg comes from Ramlösa which lies approximately 47 km from Lund, where Nova Open takes place. The area around Ramlösa does also provide two additional clubs participating during Nova Open 2019 (Gantofta IBK and Kävlinge IBK).
