Hofterup IBF was one of 24 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nova Open 2022. Two teams played until in Gruppspel; Flickor 2009-2010 1 won over IBK Lund Dalby by 1-0 and Flickor 2009-2010 A won over Lomma BFC by 5-2.
In addition to this, Hofterup IBF have participated in Nova Open before. During Nova Open 2021, Hofterup IBF had three teams playing in Pojkar 2007 and Flickor 2010-2011 respectively. Hofterup IBF comes from Löddeköpinge which lies approximately 11 km from Lund, where Nova Open takes place.
