Lomma FBC was one of 19 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nova Open 2023. The team in Pojkar 2009 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over IBK LUND by 4-3.
In addition to this, Lomma FBC have participated in Nova Open before. During Nova Open 2022, Lomma FBC had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 2012, Pojkar 2009 and Pojkar 2008 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Pojkar 2009 won over Gårdarike IBK by 4-3 but Pojkar 2008 A lost against Lomma FBC by 7-8. Lomma FBC comes from Lomma which lies approximately 6 km from Lund, where Nova Open takes place. The area around Lomma does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Nova Open 2023 (Among others: Hofterup IBF, IK Stanstad, Bjärreds IBK, Gantofta IBK, Åkarps IBK, IBK Lund, Höllviken IBF, IBK Genarp, Malmö fbc and IBS Svedala Eagles).
