Iran was the only club from Iran that had teams playing during Goalball VM 2018. They participated with one team in Men.
In addition to Iran, 15 other teams from 15 different countries played in Men. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Iran could be found in Men Pool B together with Canada, Egypt, Czech Republic, Japan, USA, Brazil and Germany.
Iran continued to Playoff A after reaching 4:th place in Men Pool B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Belgium with 1-8. In the Final, Brazil won over Germany and became the winner of Playoff A in Men.
