In addition to Brazil, 15 other teams from 15 different countries played in Men. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Brazil could be found in Men Pool B together with Canada, Iran, Egypt, Czech Republic, Japan, USA and Germany.
Brazil made it to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Men Pool B. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Germany, which they won with 8-3. Thereby Brazil won the entire Playoff A in Men during Goalball VM 2018.
