Vallens IF was one of 159 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2017. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 13 11-manna, Pojkar 14, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14-15 respectively. Three teams played until Semi final in B-Slutspel; Pojkar 13 11-manna 1 lost against Adolfsbergs IK Övre by 1-2, Pojkar 13 11-manna 2 lost against Lindome GIF by 0-10 and Pojkar 14 lost against Näsets SK by 0-3.

In addition to this, Vallens IF have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2016, Vallens had two teams playing in Pojkar 13 11-manna and Flickor 13 respectively. Two teams played until Final in B-Slutspel; Pojkar 13 11-manna lost against Jarlabergs IF by 0-1 and Flickor 13 lost against Ulvåkers IF by 4-5.

Vallens comes from STORA HÖGA which lies approximately 130 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around STORA HÖGA does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2017 (Among others: Kungälvs FF, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Kareby/Kode, Backatorp IF, Älvsborgs FF, Orust Fotboll, Hönö Hjuvik, Bergums IF and Hisingsbacka FC).
