In addition to Skövde AIK, 19 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Skövde AIK could be found in Group 2 together with Kinna IF, IFK Mariestad and Nesodden IF.
Skövde AIK made it to A-slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Rynninge IK, which they won with 4-0. Thereby Skövde AIK won the entire A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17 during Skadevi Cup 2017. Skövde AIK also participated in Pojkar 16-17 during Skadevi Cup 2016.
