IF Väster was one of 166 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 13. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against Torslanda IK RÖD by 1-2.
In addition to this, IF Väster have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2017, Väster had one team playing in Flickor 14-15. The team in Flickor 14-15 made it to the the 1/4 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Stenstorps IF by 1-2. Väster comes from Västra Frölunda which lies approximately 140 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
