IFK Mariestad was one of 166 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 13 and Pojkar 14 respectively. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against Segeltorps if by 2-3.
In addition to this, IFK Mariestad have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2017, IFK Mariestad had two teams playing in Pojkar 13 9-manna and Pojkar 16-17 respectively. The team in Pojkar 16-17 made it to the the 1/4 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against FBK Karlstad by 3-4. IFK Mariestad comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 33 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
