In addition to Våmbs IF, 11 other teams played in Flickor 16-17. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Våmbs IF could be found in Group 2 together with Røros I.L. Fotball Røros I.L., IK Viljan Strängnäs and Tyresö FF Gul.

Våmbs IF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stångenäs AIS / Lysekils AIK with 0-1. In the Final, Eskilstuna United won over Stångenäs AIS / Lysekils AIK and became the winner of A-slutspel in Flickor 16-17.
