Våmbs IF was one of 166 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2018. They participated with 7 teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Flickor 13, Flickor 14-15 and Flickor 16-17 respectively. The team in Pojkar 12 made it to the the in A-slutspel, but lost it against Hovås Billdal IF City by 0-1.
In addition to this, Våmbs IF have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2017, Våmbs had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13 9-manna, Pojkar 14 and Flickor 14-15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 13 9-manna made it to the the Final in A-slutspeland won it over Norrstrands IF by 3-0. Våmbs originates from Skövde, which is the same city as where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around skövde does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2018 (Among others: Tidaholms GIF, Ulvåkers IF, Mariestad Ungdom, IFK Mariestad, Fagersanna IF/Tibro AIK, Tibro AIK FK/Fagersanna IF, IFK Skövde FK, Lerdala/Tymer, IFK Hjo and Hörnebo SK).
