Hovshaga AIF was one of 206 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Pojkar 16-17.
In addition to Hovshaga AIF, 37 other teams from 3 different countries played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Hovshaga AIF could be found in Group 2 together with Västerås IK, Våmbs IF and Boo FF. Hovshaga AIF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 3-4. In the Final, IFK Skövde Fotboll 2 won over Skövde AIK U17 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17. Hovshaga AIF comes from VÄXJÖ which lies approximately 180 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
