In addition to the two Hjulsbro teams, 36 other teams from 3 different countries played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Hjulsbro IK HjIK could be found in Group 9 together with IFK Skövde Fotboll 2, Ekholt Ballklubb, Hertzöga BK and Falköpings FK.

Hjulsbro IK HjIK continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Bele Barkarby FF U17 with 0-4. In the Final, IFK Skövde Fotboll 2 won over Skövde AIK U17 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
