In addition to Skara FC, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Skara FC could be found in Group 4 together with Tullinge Fotboll, IFK Skövde Fotboll, Stenkullen GoIK and Runar.

Skara FC continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Skövde AIK 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Stenungsunds IF SIF won over Skövde AIK 1 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
