In addition to the two Skövde AIK teams, 17 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Skövde AIK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Våmbs IF, Trollhättans FK, Ekhagens IF and Lindome GIF.

Skövde AIK 2 continued to A-slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Stenungsunds IF SIF with 1-2. In the Final, Stenungsunds IF SIF won over Skövde AIK 1 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
