In addition to Lindome GIF, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Lindome GIF could be found in Group 2 together with Skövde AIK 2, Våmbs IF, Trollhättans FK and Ekhagens IF.

Lindome GIF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tullinge Fotboll with 3-4. In the Final, Stenungsunds IF SIF won over Skövde AIK 1 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
