Askims IK was one of 135 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Pojkar 13.

In addition to Askims IK, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 13. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Askims IK could be found in Group 11 together with IFK Hjo, Årsta FF 2 and Kullavik IF Gul.

Askims IK continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hallby IF 2 Blå with 7-8. In the Final, Skövde AIK Vitröd won over Årsta FF 1 and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 13.

Askims comes from Askim which lies approximately 140 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Askim does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2023 (Among others: Qviding FIF, Tölö IF, Älvsborg FF, Särö IK, Floda BoIF, Nödinge SK, BK Häcken, IK Kongahälla/Kareby, Masthuggets BK and HHUS (IFK Hällingsjö/Ubbhults IF/ Hyssna IF)).
