In addition to IFK Mariestad, 17 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IFK Mariestad could be found in Group 3 together with Ytterby IS 1, Eksjö Fotboll P-16, Lidköpings FK 2 and Vallens IF.
