Assi IF was one of 20 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during BD-open 2023. They participated with 7 teams in Flickor 9/10 (2014/2015) and Pojkar/Flickor 7 (födda 2016) respectively.
In addition to this, Assi IF have participated in BD-open before. During BD-open 2022, Assi had 4 teams playing in PF7 (2015). Assi comes from RISÖGRUND which lies approximately 7 km from KALIX, where BD-open takes place. The area around RISÖGRUND does also provide three additional clubs participating during BD-open 2023 (Nyborgs SK, IFK Kalix and Gammelgårdens IF).
