Varla IBK was one of 15 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Höstspelen 2021. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in Slutspel A; Pojkar 14 (födda 2007) lila lost against Kärra IBK 1 by 0-5 and Pojkar 15 (födda 2006) lost against FC Helsingborg by 2-4.
In addition to this, Varla IBK have participated in Höstspelen before. During Höstspelen 2020, Varla IBK had two teams playing in Pojkar 13 (födda 2007) and Pojkar 14 (födda 2006) respectively. Varla IBK comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 40 km from Varberg, where Höstspelen takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide four additional clubs participating during Höstspelen 2021 (Onsala IBK, Lindås Waves, Mölndals IBF and Särö IBK).
