Simons fjun was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Simons fjun, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Simons fjun could be found in Group 1 together with vad gör vi här, Team Olof, Cash is king HC, Fyrasvenskarendansk, Fysfokus, Blixten McQueen and Annebergs Allstars. Simons fjun continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sörhaga HK with 11-14. In the Final, Blom City Acadamy HK won over KSK ULTRAS and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Simons fjun comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
