In addition to the two Enköpings teams, 47 other teams played in Pojkar 1999 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Enköpings HF 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Bromölla AIK, IK Lågan Hörby 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, H43 Lund 1, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and Växjö HF 1.

Enköpings HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof Partille with 4-9. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over Borlänge HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 1999 A2.
