Absolut Åhus MKD

Absolut Åhus was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.

In addition to Absolut Åhus, 39 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Absolut Åhus could be found in Group 2 together with Det var jag som kasta!, Flygande Kor, De vet du and FEX.

Absolut Åhus continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against DVD DET VET DU with 7-8. In the Final, Bortamatchen won over Eslövslågan and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer.

Absolut Åhus originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 81 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Team Elgocell, Tollarps IF, BK ore, DVD DET VET DU, H 78 Sölvesborg, Blue Nation, Åhus Handboll, Resten, Kapellgatans IF and SG Flensburg Handewitt).
