In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 40 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Näsby Handboll 2, Hässleholms HF 1, H43 Lund 2, Finspångs HK, Lugi HF 4, Trelleborg HBK 1, IFK Malmö HF, Kävlinge HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna and Uppsala HK 2.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof Partille with 6-13. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over IF Guif Eskilstuna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
