In addition to Tollarps IF, 43 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Tollarps IF could be found in Group 4 together with Åhus Handboll 1, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Vinslövs HK 2, IFK Kristianstad 4, Önnereds HK Gbg, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1, LVHK Lödde 3, Ystads IF HF 1, Ljunghusens HK 2 and Halmstad Handboll 2.

Tollarps IF continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK 2 with 2-6. In the Final, Ljunghusens HK 2 won over HK Hök Laholm and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D1.
