Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel
In addition to the two LUGI teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof LUGI HF 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Redbergslids IK Gbg, Skogås HK Sthlm 1, Växjö HF, Trelleborg HBK, IFK Tumba Sthlm 3, Raklev G&I, Danmark, Ljunghusens HK, H 65 Höör and Sollentuna HK.

LUGI HF 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 1 with 6-10. Thereby LUGI HF 2 finished second in P00 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
