In addition to the 5 LUGI teams, 37 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof LUGI HF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Gökstens BK Torshälla, Kristianstad HK, H43 Lund 1, H 65 Höör 2, Alingsås HK 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Trelleborg HBK 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, Borlänge HK and Halmstad Handboll 2.

LUGI HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Näsby Handboll 1 with 10-11. In the Final, H43 Lund 2 won over Sorunda IF Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
