Hej Sash was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Hej Sash, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Hej Sash could be found in Group 1 together with Beeeasssly, Stavstens vänner 2, Dalhems IF Malmö, dead man walking, Uppsala HK, Team RYDBERGS BEA and "Vi har mutat domaren". Hej Sash continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uffes Brudar with 11-14. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Hej Sash comes from Höör which lies approximately 49 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
