Flygande Kagan was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Flygande Kagan could be found in Group 10 together with Lokomotiv Gunnesbo, Team Lunkan, TEAM BÖFF and IFK Daddys. Flygande Kagan continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vi ballar ur with 4-10. In the Final, BK ore won over Grabbarna Grus and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Flygande Kagan comes from Önnestad which lies approximately 23 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
