Team Lunkan MKH

Team Lunkan was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

In addition to Team Lunkan, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Team Lunkan could be found in Group 10 together with Lokomotiv Gunnesbo, Flygande Kagan, TEAM BÖFF and IFK Daddys.

Team Lunkan continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Savages with 8-11. In the Final, Mmm Tacos won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar.

Team Lunkan comes from Fjälkinge which lies approximately 12 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Fjälkinge does also provide 89 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Vinslövs HK, Team Elgocell, Kristianstad HK, IFK Kristianstad, Tollarps IF, Näsby Handboll, BK ore, DVD DET VET DU, Uma-Ness från Skåne and H 78 Sölvesborg).
