Savages was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Savages, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Savages could be found in Group 3 together with Flames BK, #vadgörvihär, Weblink Unified and Daddy Cool. Savages continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HAK with 8-11. In the Final, Mmm Tacos won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Savages comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 14 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
