Flames BK was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Flames BK, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Flames BK could be found in Group 3 together with #vadgörvihär, Weblink Unified, Savages and Daddy Cool. Flames BK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Route 66 Jubileum with 9-10. In the Final, BK ore won over Grabbarna Grus and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Flames comes from Åstorp which lies approximately 88 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
