Route 66 Jubileum was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Route 66 Jubileum could be found in Group 11 together with Lars-Adrian, BK Bakåtpass, IF Metall MittSkåne and Lågan Flames. Route 66 Jubileum continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Grabbarna Grus with 5-10. In the Final, BK ore won over Grabbarna Grus and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Route 66 Jubileum comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
