Lågan Flames was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Lågan Flames, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Lågan Flames could be found in Group 11 together with Lars-Adrian, BK Bakåtpass, Route 66 Jubileum and IF Metall MittSkåne. Lågan Flames continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Genföreningen H43 with 6-9. In the Final, Mmm Tacos won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Lågan Flames comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
