Genföreningen H43 was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Genföreningen H43, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Genföreningen H43 could be found in Group 9 together with Vi ballar ur, Rsyd, Team Tylösand and Grabbarna Grus. Genföreningen H43 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Utvecklingsklassen with 6-8. In the Final, Mmm Tacos won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Genföreningen H43 comes from Lund which lies approximately 75 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
