Solar Plexus was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.
In addition to Solar Plexus, 39 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Solar Plexus could be found in Group 4 together with Vi, Halmstad Handboll Tant 2, Powerpuffpinglorna and Blåmusslorna. Solar Plexus continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IKPV with 4-10. In the Final, 87-familjen won over Det var jag som kasta! and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer. Solar Plexus comes from Lund which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
