Blue Nation was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Blue Nation, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Blue Nation could be found in Group 4 together with Hokkens påg e det?, Sofias Duvor, Micro gänget and Rainbows. Blue Nation continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Flygande Kagan with 3-9. In the Final, BK ore won over Grabbarna Grus and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Blue Nation comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 17 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
