In addition to Kärra HF Göteborg, 44 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Kärra HF Göteborg could be found in Group 5 together with GW Landskrona HK, H43 Lund 2, Näsby Handboll 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, IF Hellton, Kristianstad HK 3 and IK Lågan Hörby.

Kärra HF Göteborg made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Kristianstad HK 1, which they won with 10-8. Thereby Kärra HF Göteborg won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
