IFK Klagshamn was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with two teams in Flickor 2003 B1 and Flickor 2001 A1 respectively. The team in Flickor 2001 A1 made it to the the Semi final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby 2 by 9-10.

In addition to this, IFK Klagshamn have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016, IFK Klagshamn had three teams playing in Flickor 2004 C1 and Flickor 2001 B2 respectively. The team in Flickor 2001 B2 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK by 4-11.
