In addition to IFK Klagshamn, 49 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Klagshamn could be found in Group 3 together with IK Lågan Hörby 2, H43 Lund 1, Uppsala HK 1, Staffanstorps HK, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1, Växjö HF, IK Baltichov Gbg 1 and Åhus Handboll.

IFK Klagshamn continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby 2 with 9-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over IK Lågan Hörby 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

IFK Klagshamn also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 4-11 and ended up in second place.
