In addition to Halmstad Handboll, 49 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit, Kärra HF Göteborg 1, H 65 Höör H65 1, Ystads IF HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1, KFUM Lundagård 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, Kävlinge HK 1 and Falu HK 1.

Halmstad Handboll made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IK Lågan Hörby 2, which they won with 9-6. Thereby Halmstad Handboll won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against LVHK Lödde 1 with 7-10.
